Liquid culture, Spore print
Pink buffalo genetics
Pink Buffalo Spores were originally collected from wild Cubensis mushrooms growing in the Koh Samui region of Thailand by ethnomycologist John Allen.
The mushrooms were found growing near cultivated rice paddies and got the name due to John seeing a single pink buffalo grazing on the land where the mushrooms were found. Just to clarify things John wasn’t just tripping from too many Cubensis as pink buffalos aren’t actually that rare and are just another name for an albino buffalo.
The Pink Buffalo strain yields large capped mushrooms, and their caps stay darker than most. It is considered a highly active strain, showing both rhizomorphic and fast colonizing traits.
